youth scholarships

Do we have any parents on the forum that have lads in the u16's and going for scholarships,can you confirm whether your meeting went ahead today,as i think the rest of the youth should meet at the end of the month,were you given any assurances about the youth?

Yes, were were there. The meeting was on Tuesday the 7th. No officail communication from the club, to the people that are running the schollars and the development setups (no names but you should know who they are), for a number of weeks now. However, plans are going ahead for the same setup, at Raunds Manor and R&DFC, as last year. The NVQ proposals for the existing U16 are a dead duck. I believe that most of the U16 are looking at alternatives for next year and will take them if offered as who knows what is going on at the club?
