Yea nice blog ICP, but a shame you've decided to choose another club to follow. You never know, you may return! ;)

I really hope so. I didn't think I would miss a team so much and even with the hope that the stay of execution will materialize I wonder what Rushden will look like this time next year. Just looking at the magnificence of our stadium it seems such a sad loss. Our team has lost so much this season but the fans have always had hope and passion. I hope Rushden can be remembered for that.

With respect, I can't understand why (or even how) you'd suddenly want to stop supporting Rushden & Diamonds if the club was still in existence. Perhaps that's just me.

Me as well, we're not dead yet! I do take the point about the club not being the one you loved, it was heartbreaking to see all the players leave but players come and go. I don't understand this though, you don't love players, you love the club and get the supporting 'bug' even through the bad times. It seems like you're jumping ship when the times are getting tough (no offence).

Players come, players go, managers come, managers go - the football club remains the same whoever is running it or playing for it.
I don't understand how if we survive, albeit in a lower Div, that you would/could walk away like that? Would you walk away had we been relegated through on-field activities?
This COULD be the start of something good, something exciting.... it may be the end, but while there is a club called Rushden and Diamonds FC I'll support it and I really don't understand how a true fan could just walk away like that, it saddens me greatly.
You've got to do what you've got to do, follow the glory if it'll make you happy, but I'll never understand it. I guess when your in the trenches you find out a lot about people, some cover you back and look out for you, others run for the hills !
Enjoy Posh, if R&DFC do survive and claw their way back, just think......you could have been part of it !

Think I've already assumed it's all over. I know it's bad but hey if I'm wrong at least we will still have a club. You'll have to blame my mother for my pessimism. I get it from her lol

Have I missed something? I was under the impression we'd just been granted 3 weeks to sort things out. Seems you're jumping the gun a bit?
Regardless of how long you've followed the club, jumping ship so quickly doesn't strike me as something a particularly good fan would do...
