Edinburgh would consider Poppies switch
Rushden & Diamonds boss Justin Edinburgh knows he would be an unpopular man if he chose to join K*ttering Town but isn't ruling out the possibility of a move.
The former Spurs defender is seemingly out of a job with Diamonds, who were expelled from the Blue Square Bet Premier, and rumours have began to surface that he is on the verge of a move to the Poppies.
Town chairman Imraan Ladak was reportedly seen at Nene Park on Monday with Edinburgh admitting he would consider taking over the vacant managerial role at Rockingham Road.
He told BBC Radio Northampton: "I would be looking to get back into work quickly if I do leave Rushden.
"I'd be willing to listen to any job opportunity. If that's K*ttering I know it probably wouldn't please everyone.
"But at the end of the day you have to go to work to earn money to pay bills and mortgages.
"When I played I missed the era of the thousands and thousands of pounds - football is my job and that's how I earn a living."
