Crisis club Rushden & Diamonds could be entered into the Zamaretto League Premier Division if they get their finances in order.
A statement from the Zamaretto League has confirmed that the Premier Division at Step 3 will run with one extra team if Diamonds can satisfy their entry criteria.
The statement reads: "Subject to the eventual outcome of outstanding issues and the club's ability to meet strict conditions laid down by the Board of Directors, Rushden & Diamonds may still line up as an additional club in the Southern League Premier Division."
