Agreed, and we can do it.

It is time to leave things and work to secure a future. An initial meeting would be a must with the agenda to get the ball going. Maybe the ET and BBC Radio Northampton (we know you read on here) could put what I've placed on here in my other thread and comments on here. Make this a big story that we plan a phoenix club, that Diamonds can rise from the ashes and will never die. Long term this would benefit the local community, so please give us publicity.

We can't hang about on this. I know we've got a year, but we need to strike whilst the iron is hot. 3 months, 6 months, 1 year down the line the supporter base will have disappeared, get everyone involved NOW.

When I sang 'I'm Rushden till I die ' I meant it anyone else that meant it please pledge your support to a phoneix club. The 2/5 be ashamed you clearly didn't mean 'jump up if you hate k*ttering', you have now become a supporter if you are for there move to nene park.

Is it worth contacting the UCL about Division One next season?
Yes I know their AGM was last week, but they are desparate for clubs, and may even lose some before next season (Rothwell Town/Buckingham Town).

No it's too late. We'd need to be registered with Northants FA and that deadline passed for this season. I hope AndyKirkup (sorry mate, I don't know you real name!) doesn't mind me posting this from a pm, but he suggested:

we start a 'fans' team for 2011-12 as a focus for support and fundraising, just so the momentum doesn't get lost over the coming season. Obviously this team would play at lower level but I don't think that's really important.
