Ok my theory was more based on Justin taking over as K*ttering boss and not as has been rumoured on another thread Morrell Maison. I was looking at the names of some of our 'squad' on the website earlier. Obviously we don't have any players but they were in the side last season.

Curtis Osano, Craig Farrell, Michael Corcoran, Alan Power, Sam Smith, Nabil Shariff and obviously the youth players.

I was just thinking how many of those guys are going to end up at K*ttering next season if they end up at Nene Park potentially with JE as manager. maybe the powers that be think this might help eep some of the Diamonds fans on board (or not in Farrell's case).

Is Alan Power definitely not going to Hull now then?

I don't know, I hadn't heard that rumour. Great move for him if he is!

While we're on this does anyone know of any other rumours regarding the above players? I assume it's a given that Sam Smith will end up at K*ttering now.

That is the last place I would have thought Sam would want to go to..

I thought it would be the first place he'd want to go since he is a K*ttering fan. I'll be interested to see where Nabil Shariff goes, because I think a L2 side would do well to give him a go. It's a shame we won't be able to see him progress, because he looked great.

surely cambridge would be a better option..

I agree with you SP about Smith. But then if his family are all die hard fans of that lot up the road maybe they're dead set against K*ttering playing at NP as well?

What was your reasoning behind that Diamond Warrior? Do you know something we don't?

In all seriousness I always liked Sam and hope he does well. I would have liked to have seen him played more in his natural position. He would have made a good partnership up top with Shariff IMO. Oh well, we'll never know now....

Discussion I had was about 10 days ago. When my 'source' is next on facebook, I shall confirm. He has had offers from various clubs but was holding out to see what happened at R&D as JE wanted to keep him if possible.
