I've spent a bit of the afternoon doing some tweeting about us looking to set up a phoenix club. I believe we need to do this as a way to spread the word a bit further. We may even be able to garner support and advice from people if they are made aware.

yep good idea, i think once the first meeting has been sorted it should be started, we got a fairly good amount of support from twitter last time.

Maybe it might be worth getting in touch with local buisnesses for a little sponsorship to help to get things moving,then maybe take out little ads in the free papers to help spread the word to most homes,get the word out :o

Well some good new is that the Non League Paper and the Non League Show have retweeted my tweets, so they're aware. Fingers crossed that this will get us some more publicity.

Come on ET! Stick something on the back page or something about us trying to form a phoenix club and refusing to go down without a fight. A "people's club."

this maybe stupid but has anyone thought of contacting the griggs family ??an e-mail would sufice,you ll get some sort of reaction either way and they may give a few pointers
