Heard from more then one reliable source move is OFF. No idea why, can imagine KC trying to screw Imram for as much as he can. Trust me is dont want to go to np as much as you lot dont want us there !!

Too good to be true. I'll believe it when I see something official.
I've never understood how or why Ladak would want to pay £250k a year rent.

Maybe KC has got a better deal from Glenda's roadshow or NTFC for a training facility or even both.

To be fair I don't give a flying f***; it could sit empty for the next 25 years.
The future of the club is in the form of AFC Rushden and Diamonds, playing away from the bottomless money pit which Nene Park has become; if we cut the ties we can become financially sound.
I may have watched the Diamonds play at the Millenium Stadium, Loftus Road, Hillsborough, Upton Park and a host of other big grounds but I am 100 percent behind a new club playing in the ICL.
I actually can't wait.

just what i heard this afternoon as far as i am concerned i would like never to see the poppies set foot in np again ( except for a friendly maybe hehehe)

Something I've always wondered about NP is: Why are the costs of running it (£1k per day) so high, since every day surely we're not using all parts of the stadium and using loads of water etc? Probably a stupid question but I've never thought about it in-depth.

I just want a club...but i'm kinda with stalin here. We should move away and start a fresh, we'd no longer be the hated club with plastic fans. We'd be a new club, turing over a new leaf...could be exciting. Then again money is a huge factor in success now...tbh either way i'm happy, old club or new. It does feel weird having to hate Nene Park. Don't get me wrong, I would never go back if anyone but Rushden is playing there, but i do kind of miss the place, having not been for a year.
Lets just sit back for a few weeks and see what happens.
