Sorry, it's a bit unclear. Ignore the company in yellow.
Screenshot from Companies House. Bearing in mind that Beasant owned Penpol Homes 4 Limited, I'm going to assume he owned 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 as well. They all have almost the same registered address, in the south west. As do the two companies above it.
11/13 companies dissolved, within a year or so of incorporation. The two companies which do not say dissolved, are classed as Active - Proposal to Strike Off, so basically going into liquidation. Without looking into a single other company owned or run by them, surely even minimal research in an investor would uncover things like this?

I think we all know about this by now. Don't forget that when KC handed the club over, he did so to Gary Calder and Liam Beasant. Steve only came along after Gary had left and so, although I'm no expert, I would imagine that Steve didn't come under the due diligence that Keith said he completed.

With all due respect, I think that some people would find it extremely difficult to believe that a man who is an experienced businessman, a trained corporate lawyer, and the owner of a very substantial number of properties being leased / rented to others, would either
a) fail to conduct a proper due diligence process in respect of future partner / leaseholders
b) enter into a leasehold agreement of this size with a 25 year with no business knowledge or background, straight out of the army, without also anticipating who HIS partners might be - ie his recently backrupt father
Whilst HT - seemingly desperate to maintain an influence in football in some form - was first praising the Beasants, then "retiring" to Corby, others were raising concerns including on this forum.
At the time, it just wasn't clear what the intended outcome might be. Now some might say that it is.

Absolutely correct, KC had to be aware of what he was doing ,I posted the day after the Beasants came in that having checked them out that they had no money and KC is a far cleverer man than me.I am not sure his plan has gone exactly as he hoped ,but I am sure he had a good idea what was going to happen and in many ways the Beasants where his fall guys.Lets hope he gets what he deserves if he manages to destroy RDFC

I agree, correct analysis of the position. If I was looking for the perfect partners to pass on my "problems" the Beasants would be high on the list. Some might say at best they are careless and naive, and at worse something much more unpleasant.

Only one person to blame and as time passes, it becomes very, very clear...KC you have cut your losses and are awaiting the big pay-off when the land is sold and 'developed'.
Not saying KC didn't try for a while but when FL status didn't happen, recession hit - not just for KC but also for ordinary fans who found it hard to support the team and attendance waned.
KC then tried to get some return on his investment.
He must have been desperate to have dealt with the Beasants, but probably Hobson's Choice - either them or nobody...?
What a cock-up, don't think KC is the smartest businessman in the world..!
