Did KC own RDFC and Nene Park all as one entity before selling the football side to The Beasants?

No. The football club and the land were split into two separate entities when they were handed over to the Supporters' Trust by the Griggs Group. The idea was that this would protect the football club, but in fact it turned out to do the opposite.
The land is still owned by the original Supporters' Trust which in turn is owned solely by KC's company Conalgen.

To be used for what? Demolition costs on the ground would be very high, housing wouldn't ever be permitted in that location and there's plenty of vacant industrial units/offices in the county and don't forget that KC already has planning consent for a hotel which he clearly can't afford to build.
So hardly the nest egg that some people think Nene Park is.

Still, the land/buildings can be used against mortgages and other financing deals.....
