If anyone gets the NLP today, take a look at the piece about Paddy Gamble on Page 7.
Paddy was Alfreton goalkeeper at the beginning of last season. He was released by Nottm Forest and was big friends with Dale Roberts. After Dale's death, Paddy told the Alfreton manager he felt he could no longer play football, was given time off by the club, but has not returned and has not been seen by Alfreton since despite attempts to contact him. A very sad story.
There is also an interview with Mark Starmer in the NLP on Page 2, and a review on Page 10 of all the league changes that have come about as a result of Diamonds expulsion. No fewer than 12 changes in all. It also says that Ilkeston will be the last team to be allowed to reform at Step 4 of Non-League after rule changes.
If ever there was a weekend to buy the NLP as a Diamonds fan, it's today!

Good to read that "Starms" would even like to be manager of the senior team should we be able to put one in the UCL for the following season.
