Have to say that it's a fantastic offer that I'm seriously considering taking up. My Saturday's wouldn't be the same without my football

I actually care, because I fear that although this post is a pathetic wind-up, we may actually see a lot of ex-Diamonds followers (not fans, but people who just want a game of football to watch) be fickle enough to go down there - we need all the fans we can to make AFC a success.
We need a "don't follow THEM, follow us" campaign asap IMO, we all play a part in that !!
The ET has really nailed its flag to KC/IL's mast haven't they? It'll be tough for us to get any positive press (if any at all) via this route. A newspaper worth its salt would be all over the AFC story, but they're sucking up to the cosy advertising £ KC/IL is waving - I hope it all turns to rats#it for them all, I really do !! If there is a footballing god these graverobbers will have the season from hell and sink under a pile of debt, they may find out then that KC isn't the friend he claims to be............I still wonder if KC's Essex speaking Japanese friends will put money into this venture to subsidise them though, I don't think Ladick's pockets are deep enough to pay the going rate for NP !!
There are a lot of people I respected who should hang their heads in shame for what has happened to us, and for what IS happening at NP right now.

thats right Jim.
We know any self respecting fan won't set foot in there, i struggle to see how anyone who has followed the diamonds and hated our rivals could possibly stand/sit side by side with their fans and if they do then Imran and Keith are welcome to them.
It is irrelevant to us whether they get 100 or 6,300 in the ground we must look forward and put all of our energy into AFC Rushden and DIamonds.
We should be massively proud on what we have achieved so far and we haven't even started!, this is being run by fans for fans, not by someone with any ulterior motives. Wherever that takes us we should enjoy it

Well said both.
I can't say it's unexpected that Imraan and Keith are trying these tactics but it can't be popular with the KTFC fans either. If I were them, I'd be asking for refunds on a full price season ticket they might have bought when they thought their games would be at their old ground.
As for us, we've no need to fear what they're doing. We must keep rallying together and building on the great work done so far, keep the community spirit we have going, and enjoy what we're creating.

The ET is giving it the works. Full front page article with big banner headline "Watch the Poppies for under £5". There is a small article on the front page which is concluded on page 3.
Then there is a four page pullout special feature in the middle of the paper.
The offer seems to be that the first 450 people to buy an adult season ticket for a stand seat and also the first 450 people to buy an adult season ticket will receive an under 16 season ticktet free of charge.
The cost of an adult season ticket is £200. Under 16 season ticket £100. Under 11 £50. They are also offering to spread the cost over eight monthly payments. There are also various other incentives with a club membership which costs £10including discounts on advertising boards, 10% shop discount, 50% shirt discount etc.
They are giving Ladak a big platform for his propoganda pitch. There are several sickening photos from inside NP.
They are also offering three tours for your "first look round new ground" on 4th and 6th August.
All very depressing but it just strengthens my resolve with regard to the AFC.

What happens if say, after the first two monthly payments they aren't doing so well and some fans decide not to continue paying the money. Would a club have a way of continuing to get all the money? It was never answered when the Beasents offered the same thing in April and I'm curious.
