With a lot of debate going on regarding ever setting foot inside nene park again following the disgrace of whats happened I wanted to test the water as to what people would do WHEN we get to play them. The footballing gods will smile on us one day and we will get the opportunity to go back to Nene park. What is the feeling on here towards that. A) would you go and have one of the best nights of your fooballing life by showing in numbers the level of support that our club has, creating an unbelievable atmosphere in the airwair and proving that we will never be destroyed as a club or B) not go as it would be too painful and you would not want to give any money at all to KC or IL. This may not happen for many years to come but i just wanted to pose the question? I for one would proudly go and support my team, the same way that i have done since 1992 and with Rushden Town before that. Everyone must keep the faith that this is the way forward with the AFC. All the doubters, the people who are unsure and the "whats the pointers" need to keep the dream alive and know that one day we will have our chance again so get behind the AFC and keep the belief within. How nice it would be for everyone to say "I was there at the beginning".

NEVER going back there. Until they have gone bust and we are again the owners.

I would attend, would like to imagine a large, vocal AFC support playing a match where we should rightfully be!

It's not really the same.

I like the idea of staying away, and of not giving KC etc. any extra money, but the draw of such a game would be too much and I'd probably go.

Same here RH, just the very thought of KC making more money out of what he has already done makes my blood boil!!!!!!

I'd agree with all that - and also the thought of seeing people I'd previously regarded as fellow Diamonds fans on the "other side of the fence" would be too much to take.

Personally, I can't wait until we face K*ttering at Nene Park, even if its just a Maunsell Cup match which in all likelihood would be the only way we'll ever play them again.

You'd have to go even if it meant putting money in KC pockets; if your an AFC fan you would have to go.

It would be our way of showing KC, IL, the K*ttering fans and any Diamonds deserters that we are alive and well with a big passionate following.

Hate to use the phrase but it would be our cup final, plus we know how much noise can be generated in the Airwair even with a few fans; just think what 300 - 400 would sound like.
