Retirement of the number 12 shirt?

As the has been an emphasis on the fans being the leaders of the club, would it be an idea to retire the number 12 shirt to the fans? Portsmouth have also done this. Just a thought

I see the point you're making, but to me it kind've lessens the value of retiring Dale's shirt.

Agreed. We could vote on it someone proposes it a fans meeting but the club is the fans and fans are the club. We own it and control it's destiny, so we don't need to retire to represent us.
