2500? based on all the hype, the free tickets, low priced season tickets and good following expected from Newport i would expect IL is looking for between 3000-4000 to attend. Give it a few weeks if results don't do their way, poor away support from some teams and bad weather and they will soon be down to 1500. But that's not a problem as that fits in perfectly with the second phase of the bigger picture. Introducing for the 2012/13 season East Northants United! And before K*ttering fans start going on about being bitter and angry I would like to point out that I am. Not at K*ttering but at what happened to us. K*ttering needed a ground and our old one was empty, makes sense. Just keep one eye on what will happen further down the road.

I shall be watching, with interest, what the Cuckoo's home attendances will be on cold windy Tuesday evenings between November and February. That will be the true test of their support away from the Rockinhorse and 10 miles from their traditional heartland. ;)

surely you don't think that this was pre planned ;) I mean seriously, next people will be saying that this was in the pipeline for the past 2 seasons! What piffle! why not go the whole hog and say that K*ttering will change their name at the end of this season and a new club will be launched from it. Sheer nonsense!!!!

Sadact needs high attendences for his first few games otherwise the backstabbers within Kettrins support will be on his back so i suspect lots of freeby tickets to bolster attendence figures and spin, spin, spin from his propaganda machine.

As we well know now from the Griggs days of Higher attendences that most never paid and we will see how deep Sadacts pockets are when winter sets in and the early money withers away as the bills come in.

i couldn't give two hoots anymore, our club has moved onto a new exciting chapter what they do is irrelevant.

We all know how we think it will end whether it does or not i don't care.

Same here, really have no interest in what they're doing or where they're doing it. We've much more exciting things to be doing than looking back - AFC R&D is the way forward!

Agree with Bozzer and DF.

As for them getting 2500 tomorrow, they couldn't get that much at their own shitty little ground, so doubt they will get that many.

The only team I care about is AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

Large away support expected - Newport obviously gained a few fans since last season then ;) - coupled with free tickets and moreorless giveaway season tickets, i'm afraid their attendances will be 1000+ all season.

They won't make much money each week through the turnstyles because of the match day entrance fee. Their future is dependent on how deep IL's pockets are and whether there is investment.
