RDST Money?

Don't think that this has been covered elsewhere? Any news on the RDST money, and whether it will be used for the benefit of AFC R&D? At the first AFC R&D meeting at Raunds, there was mention of a RDST meeting needing to be held 'urgently'. Not heard anything since, or have I missed something?

My understanding is that an EGM will be called shortly by the Trust. A number of fans have called for one (via a group letter) sent to the trust as organised at the last AFC Meeting, though I think one was being setup anyway.
But we are actually working on a proper business plan which can be used to back any request for funding from whatever source be it local government, or a trust. We want to do that properly of course. Short term with the sponsors already acquired (as can be seen on the Website, and in the upcoming programme), we are ok to ensure we do this right.

Although it's been mentioned before, its worth adding to this thread that there is also the question of what happened to certain monies raised before the Trust had held their first post-season meeting or set up their donation / pledge account - e.g the money that Cousins asked fans to contribute as a sign we were committed to saving the club as they left the first "allcomers" post-season meeting. Also monies raised during bucket collections in those early days.
Surely it was reasonable to expect a statement from Cousins on what had happened to this, confirming where it would end up, as it was raised on the strength of his commitment that the Beasants wouldn't get their hands on it, and it was entrusted to him - so by inference it would not go directly to the club - and hence the administrator. Did he arrange for this to be passed on to the Trust for safe-keeping?

I had a call last week from someone (David I think) from the trust asking what I wanted to do with my donation. Told them I would like the money to go to the new AFC R&D! In hindsight I should have asked for it back then I could have given straight to AFC myself. Probably would have been quicker as it will take them quite a bit of time calling everyone & sorting it out.

All money received via Paypal was paid directly into the Trusts account.
