Maybe a detour via St Neots on the way back from the Luton game.

I think the map should also have the route from "Rushden/Irthlingborough" on there too ;-)

Not just from Cambridge/North/South. Still am sure we can work it out.

Normally I'd go via Kimbolton to get to/from Rushden. However I'd strongly advise going via the A14 instead to avoid having to go through the (St Neots) town centre. Assuming you take the A14 option follow the orange (from A1 North) arrows on the map.

This weekend in town there's a funfair at the Riverside and music festival on the market square, meaning it'll probably be even more chaotic travelling through town.

True I guess as we found that last time I was there, there was some River Festival on.
This time I know a few will be coming from the South, give we have a friendly in Luton in the morning.

Made it to St Neots, easiest route is straight along the B645 from Higham Ferrers to St Neots, town centre is always a pain but only takes 5 minutes. Good game, St Neots won 4-1 Lewis Hilliard scored a cracker and Chris Hope controlled the defence a bit like days of old. They will do well this year with Stefan Moore ( ex Aston Villa) up front who looks class and too good for the level. He is rumoured to be on £1000 a week!

They made themselves very unpopular around the UCL due to the attitude of some of their officials and fans since they found their pot of gold, my guess is they will be back in a few years.
