Hopefully on the two home matchdays you have purchased the programme.

Have any of you got any complaints or compliments on it? Hopefully we can continue to improve throughout this season and by next season it will be equal to, if not the best in the division.

Simply reply here or send me a PM and we will do our best to keep everyone happy :)

Is it possible to have players with their numbers on the back of the programme, or are there no set numbers?

Also a list of fixtures and results somewhere in the program would be good (simular to how the old R&D had the fixtures and results listed)

Other than that, I think you all are doing a fantastic job with the matchday programme.

I think its really good, I've got a few ideas of things that can go into it and will email these through to bozzer when I get the chance to - some of which I'll be happy to sort out - the fixture thing mentioned is difficult because we've only got the first few weeks fixtures sorted, but I agree, a list with the team that played and goal scorers identified would be a good addition as the season goes on.

I imagine it'll be like being back to the 2000/1 season, the last season we didn't have squad numbers.

I really didn't expect any programme to be produced this season, but think it is excellent Matt. A good read and all the relevant information. It would be good to put the date of the game somewhere on the cover (or an Issue number) but other than that, it's just about right.

I think it's great considering (I assume) it's produced by amateurs.

A couple of things in terms of the actual layout - try to keep font sizes and types the same where possible excluding headlines. Also, you'd be hard-pressed to find a magazine that uses a font size above 9pt for paragraphed content, and looking at some of the pages I thought the font looked larger than that although I may be wrong as i don't have it on me at the moment.

Obviously most people will have looked at the programme from the perspective of a football fan and frankly the points I mentioned are me simply looking for things that could slightly improve it when in reality it's fine.

I'll have a better look at it tomorrow and see if I can see anything else. ;)

Correct. It's only the BSP and above that have squad numbers. I'm now getting used to watching Corby in the BSN playing a 1-11 starting formation. Just like the old days when I was a boy. ;)

I remember during that season (my first as a season ticket holder at NP) at the age of 13 asking my neighbour why Gary Mills was wearing Gary Butterworth's number four. I still hadn't grasped the idea of not having squad numbers.

I appreciate this is pretty unimportant, and I'm not going to go rooting round for 2000/01 programmes to check, but Butterworth wore 7 that season. I think 4 was shared between Mills and Carey, with maybe the odd appearance from Wormull, and lovely Macca wore it too until he broke :'(

My point at the time was that he was down as the number four on the back of the programme ;)
