Good 2-0 win against a very robust Daventry side in my opinion, lads kept their cool very well with a lot of provovcation . Again we played a lot of very good football and deserved the win, well done to Mark, Steve and the boys

I agree with that short, sharp assessment Tony, plus we have to play them again soon in the NSYL KO Cup don't we? They'll be fed up to the high teeth with us eh?

Still can't believe how stupid their number 9 was for getting sent off for THAT, daft beyond belief - some very nasty and niggly little challenges going in, not helped by a ref who seemed oblivious to them - bet there are a few sore legs in the dressing room tonight !

Sounds like there could have been some "payback" for the first game beating and songs aimed at the Daventry players in that first game.
I guess that's "evened the score" then considering there's not been a repeat of it and the team has done the business on the pitch.

There was a free kick to daventry, a little altercation in the penealty area and from what i see the No9 headbutted one of our lads

a brilliant and very professional performance from the lads tonight under quite a bit of provocation, they kept their heads and let their football do the talking!

It is nothing short of amazing to have the team performing at the level they are having not even met each other 9 weeks ago, and thats a testament to Mark, Steve and Colin.
All we as fans can do is ask for the players to give 100% and by god are they doing that.
