Not them from down the road, but THE Poppy we should all wear with pride to remember those who have sacrificed themselves to fight for our freedom over the many years.
This year its unique - 11.11.11.11 !!! Please make sure you buy and wear your Poppy with pride.
The money raised helps ex-servicemen and their families, both past and present. My mum for example, widowed 3 years ago aged 82, with mobility issues and unable to get up stairs. The Royal British Legion stepped up to the plate and fitted her a stairlift to totally transform her life. Why? Because my dad was an ex-para who had 3 years of active service - they treated my mum so well and have given her a new lease of life.
Your money helps many families and people live full and active lives - please give generously !!!
