Sadly neither Bobos nor myself will make this one - I'll be struggling to get over before 8.15pm on Thursday too

Anyone going who would like to use their new fangled mobile phone gadget to post up as and when the goals fly in tonight would go straight to the top of my Xmas card list :D

Game ended 1-0 to AFC.

Mason Thomas with the only goal, in a very tight game.

1-0 to AFC Diamonds. Check the Twitter page Everyweeker, it gives info on goals and goalscorers as they go in.

Is that a pretty good win for AFC by the way? Also, my usual question, what was the attendance?

Approximately 100 We didn't think it was too bad for a friendly.

I was really impressed with a few of the trialists particulary the number 9 (Mason) who scored the goal, i was in the bar at the time so i missed the goal  I thought his movement and all round play was excellent, he looked like he would be a very good addition to the team.

I see we got the same/more attending than Corby did last night, when they played Colchester in there FA Youth Cup!
