Two yellows in two minutes for Drewe Broughton - not bad even by his standards.

2 yellows in 13 mins or is my eyesight bad

I thought about warning people to ignore the stats section, and read the report itself - and the report on the Thurrock site concurs about the two yellows in 2/3 mins

Drewe Broughton has been coaching my former Uni team in Luton this year. His brother Greg (who used to work for R&D and is very distinctive looking) works for Luton and has run the trials for the last three years.

He's apparently been on nights out with some of my old Uni friends and has even been trying to play for the team. :lol: . I'm told he speaks fondly of his time at Diamonds and described them as a 'great set of lads'. Quite amusing really given that i consider that team (August 04- May 06) as our worst ever side/s.

When I heard he was coaching my old side I joked that he probably had so much time on his hands due to spending 50% of his career suspended. His contract at Alfreton was terminated due to disciplinary issues. I think it's fair to say he's got a problem.

There were times when I thought he and Jon Dempster were competing with each other as to who could rack up the most cards.

That team was awesome, it was just a bit unlucky.

The official attendance for that match was 211 then it the match report it says that the first goal was much to the delight of the 200 away fans :lol:
