If anyone is friends with the UCL on facebook there is an interesting debate regarding is entering the league, lets just say we have a few haters :lol:. Some interesting points have been made though.

There really are some highly intellectual comments on there... I particularly liked "There sh*t" - Not just from a grammatical point of view, but also because we haven't got a men's team yet, so expressing any view on our standard is impressively ignorant! :lol:

I wouldn't worry about it. I think there is a genuine fear factor about AFC coming in as you may be a 'new' club but you are still a BIG CLUB.
I for one, after having my eldest son come through the youth ranks from 11-15 in the days of Griggs/Talbot era cannot wait for the club to be up and running again.
Here's to a successful 2012, wherever you may be playing and whatever league you may be in!!!!!
