Good, solid player for us was Simon Downer. I recall hearing a story that Neil Cousins was signed primarily to drive Downer to and from training / matches as the pair lived near eachother and Downer didn't drive.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

If they are drawn against each other, at least it would guarantee there being a non-league club in the Quarter Finals!

There's quite an (ex-)Diamonds presence in these highlights of that game - https://youtu.be/qFFwDlX4qSU
Very tough draw for them in the quarter final, away at South Shields. Guaranteed a great crowd and a bit of cash from a shared gate even if they don't manage to beat the favourites for the Vase.

The favourites who shouldn't even still be in the Cup, embarrassing the way they got past Morpath. Can't see it but I hope Pagnell turn them over.

Totally agree as we discussed last Saturday. Shields are currently averaging over 1200 for their league matches with a high of over 2500 when they played North Shields earlier in the season. Wouldn't surprise me seeing a crowd approaching 2000 for this match. South Shields crowds have taken off after they've returned 'home'. Well there's a thought! :good:

Chris Arthur rejoins Woking.

What a dreadful player he was in his couple of games for us!
