Not a former player but not worth a new thread.

Has anyone noticed that a player called Leon Lobjoit has scored 62 goals in 36 appearances for Buckingham Town this season in UCL Div One? I was going to mention it at the weekend but didn't bother. I've just seen that Cobblers have taken him on trial.

That's quite some going. Hopefully we can keep an eye on him in case it doesn't work out for him at Northampton.

He scored 9 in Buckingham's 9-1 win over Woodford, 6 in two games against S&L and they are comfortably way worse than anything AFCR&D played in UCL Div1.

That said Buckingham have scored over 100 league goals so he's not their only threat. I've seen him twice and I was surprised he'd scored 6 on those showings, he's also got a love/hate relationship with twitter apparently.

Not splitting hairs but one set of records say 8 of the 9 V Woodford. He's 22 started at MK, went to Coventry under Mark Robins, where he made a total of 0 appearances, since then records indicate Bishops Stortford, Hemel Hempstead (released) New Bradwell St Peter in South Midlands League, and now Buckingham in UCL 1, was originally listed as a midfield player. As said worth keeping an eye on but I guess the are reasons why his career so far has been somewhat up and down.

Parallels with a certain Leon Knight, who had/has a seriously bad attitude. Maybe this Leon Lobjoit is of the same mould? Although he does have a impressive scoring record.

Lobjoit played and scored for Cobblers' reserves against Peterborough on Tuesday.
