UGLY scenes marred the end of Barrow AFC's 2-0 home defeat against K*ttering Town in front of a crowd of 1,160 at Holker Street.
Trouble started in injury-time when K*ttering full-back James Jennings went shoulder to shoulder with AFC striker Gregg Blundell down by the byline. The K*ttering player appeared to shove Blundell, whose head whacked into the boardings. Jennings was booked.
On the full-time whistle Barrow joint-manager Dave Bayliss came onto the pitch and raised his hands at Jennings. A mass brawl involving all the players broke out. Stewards and officials tried to break it up. One steward fell to the floor and was stretchered off. Blundell then received more treatment and was stretchered off while being given oxygen.
It is understood Blundell has been taken to hosptial. The steward who was stretchered off was later able to walk out of the tunnel at Holker Street surrounded by his colleagues.
