.... apparently, I have been permanently banned from Poppynet, and my IP Address
has been logged, or something!

Interesting, because although I have watched and read with interest what's been going on over at Kettrin' and read Poppynet, I haven#t contributed to their messageboard for years - probably three or four, at least!

Are they that desperate for us not to know what they are thinking? Has anyone else ben banned from Poppynet?

Join the club, I got banned nearly two years ago now. I never tried to inflame and was always civil and tried to debate properly with them.

My RDFCRob account was banned a couple of years ago as well (they must've done a cull of all outsiders) but I've had a new account for ages now and haven't been banned.

It comes up with that sometimes for me, just try again later, don't know why.

There is also a blanket ban on certain general IP addresses on Poppynet - e.g. I can't use a 3-mobile phone to access it at all, let alone try to login.

I agree Formic, my 3 phone can't access it. Says the IP address has been permanently banned, which led me to believe someone had been overly keen and banned all my IP addresses, turns out I can still access it on my laptop.

Same here with 3 phone, works ok through my home wireless which is through a different isp.
