U18's offered first team football?

Post by BartonRaz »

Noticed in a post from ToD that four lads have been offered first team football next season by Starms. Anybody able to say who they are? And maybe match names to faces on the banner above for those that haven't been to many games? ;)

What about the young goalkeeper, apart from letting that one in in the final I thought he was solid.

That's Ash Foulger Mat, the confusion could be that's he listed as No.1 in the programmes but wears the 86 shirt. Or you could just be a bit thick.

Is Meeks the right back? Like I said I haven't seen many games but I've been impressed with him.

Thought Harrison might get a crack or is he tied to Corby?

Yes, Ash Meeks is the one who usually plays right wing-back.

The four lads mentioned above are all second years, so won't be eligible for the U18s next season. We hope that all of the 1st years and U16s (which includes James Harrison) will remain with our U18s.

Blimey, he looked like a natural finisher in the games i've seen, didn't realise he was playing with/against older lads. He'll be a good player in a few years.

Another cracking striker to partner James Harrison is Mason Thomas who missed the last 7 or 8 weeks thro injury but is back training again. If we can get them cracking the goals the youth team vill be excicting to wath. Plus i have been impressed with bothe Conor Bell and Fred Devereux upfront as well
