Darlo aren't in the Northern PREMIER league, it's just the Northern League so equivalent to UCL Premier.

Yeah, its called Northern League Division One, despite being the top division of the Northern league. And they've been relegated so many divisions as I believe the FA have treated them as a new club after the takeover, therefore starting at step 5/level 10.
They also might have to change their name as well!! It all begs the question, was all the money they put into saving their club worth it, just to retain the club's history, or should they have put all that money into a phoenix club? In hindsight probably not, but obviously they didn't know they were going to have to drop 4 divisions when they were trying to save it.

Darlo lose FA appeal. To be treated as a new club and may have to change their name. Confirmed that they will play in the Northern League next season.

Just had a look around their forum, and they're nowhere near as united as we are.

I'm not so sure based upon their forum, it sounds like they're doing a lot of good and may have already raised a fair bit of cash. they've sold over 400 season tickets on the first day they went on sale!

They're also looking to buy a new 250 capacity stand:

The real kick in the teeth has been being forced to change their name to Darlington 1883, but I think they'll do well.
