Without wanting to sound negative.. any chance we can get some bigger games? Its a good chance to make alot of money for the club!

It's not for the want of trying!, as previously said though a lot of league clubs won't play on our pitch due to insurance.

Also we are having to design a pre season which is as best as we can for fans but more importantly which prepares the team for the season.

This friendly is a 125-mile round trip (for me) on a Tuesday night. ;)

I won't be satisfied until we have every single pre-season game against Earls Barton Utd.

Don't forget young TTT, it's not just about making money. The management team will have certain requirements for friendlies and just like at any club will design the pre-season to challenge the squad in the way that they feel is appropriate.

Off the back of playing what will undoubtedly be a very good St Neots side on Saturday, a friendly against a Step 6 club seems about right to me.

I won't be happy until our pre-season consists of a tour of Spain including games against Barca and Real Madrid at the Nou Camp and Bernabeau!!! ;) 8-)

Anyone remember trips to Halstead or Newport (IOW) for one-off friendlies ?

I remember them Formic, can't say that I went to either though. ;)

Off the top of my head I don't think I went further than Rugby for an away PSF so 'Holwell Sports' will be a bit of a landmark moment for me.

Looking at their ground on google, it looks pretty decent for the level, we'll certainly visit worse.
