Help from the fans

The commercial team have been meeting every month for the past few months and have done a fantastic job for the forthcoming season. However we would like to do more and we need the fans help.

The most time consuming part of the team is cold calling companies, everyone on the commercial team has a day job and therefore time is a little limited during the day,it would be very helpful if we could get some leads, or if you work for an employer who may be interested in some kind of sponsorship/advert/pitchside board it would be really beneficial to pass the lead to us at marketing@afcdiamonds.com.

There is something to suit every pocket from £25 to £2500, all the details can be found in the commercial brochure http://www.afcdiamonds.com/wp-content/u ... chure1.pdf

We have pretty much sold all the kit sponsorship for this season, and are now looking at programme adverts, pitch side sponsor boards, sponsors boards for our new stand.

In the near future as players are signed we will be able to make player sponsorships available as well.

Obviously the more we get for the club the more beneficial it will be for the team next season and the club in the future so any help would be gratefully received.

I work at Tesco, just over the road, surely they'd be interested in some sponsorship, especially with 'rivals' M&S moving in just over the road. I just dont know who to contact with it being such a huge company. any ideas?

i would have thought first port of call would be to ask your line manager or store manager, some supermarkets have a pot of money they are allowed to give to local schemes i don't know if this is the case with tesco but if you can ask the question.

Have you contacted ASDA or Waitrose regarding their charity scheme (with the green coin/coupon thingys) they have on the way out? Or aren't AFC R&D eligible for that??
