[ Monday 2nd July ] Latest Pics from Dog and Duck
Taken Post Post Removal
Thanks once again to all those in the heavy mob that came down earlier this evening to remove the Nets/Posts at both ends. Posts put to one side, along with the nets for later use.
A few pics of the results:
Nets removed behind both goals.
The view from behind the goal/terrace area
Also from last Friday/Saturday work, some of the groundwork that was done.
Groundwork Prep for Dale's Bar, ready for concrete.
Groundwork for pitchside walkway, ready for concrete.
Turnstiles, as painted by the lads on Sunday.
Office/Club Shop - Doors will be Blue once we get more paint. White Gloss for protection from rain for now, given the current weather forecast.

Looks fantastic guys...I work evenings and am unavailable on saturdays, but if there's work being done on Sundays i'm happy to come down and put in a shift!
I can't ask on the menbers forum as I need to renew me membership (this weekend) but is anything being done with the pitch itself?....not meaning to offend anyone but it's always been a bit of a pants playing surface, will we be relaying it or improving it in anyway? I'm friends with a player who we're in talks with, i'd love to see him join, but that was one of his concerns too.

the pitch has had some work done on it and will continue to over the season, however in reality it's a 2/3 season process to get it to the standard we want so don't expect it to look like Wembley now. Obviously we have a lot more to offer than many other clubs but the best pitch in the league won't be one thing we can offer at the moment.
