What an absolute bummer. Disappointed isn't the word but hardly unexpected given the location of the pitch and the amount of rainfall we've had. :evil:

I'm afraid this is going to be the first of many at the D&D. Absolutely gutted.

Gutted but we have waited 12 months so what if we wait another week or two.

Quite honestly I expected this announcement sometime earlier. So dissapointing but I think most of us that are familiar with the D&D were expecting it ! Now what to do? Half hour reading the Ploppies Forum ! One hour laughing ! at least ..that takes care of 90 minutes.. :lol: :lol:

I'm really not surprised I've just got back from Northampton and the A45 is shut at great doddington due to flooding. The nene is crazily high along the embankment as well. I was bringing my two boys with me this afternoon and I was really questioning if it was such a wise idea even though I was desperate to witness a little bit of history. I guess we'll have to wait a little while longer.
