I see the Wonderstuff (or what remains of them) are playing at the Jubilee (Diamond) centre in a couple of months. It might be an idea to let Wonderstuff fans know what you think about those that operate that venue.

Shame I would love to have seen The Wonderstuff, no way am I putting any more money in their pockets! I see they have some MMA fighting down in August. Shame we couldn't of got a few events like this as they are the sort of events that brings their own crowds.
Chorlton, whats the name of your band?

Seen The Wonder Stuff, and loads of Miles Hunt's solo stuff far too many times, one of the best bands I have ever seen. I will not be going to see Miles and Erica at this time, I will check them out at another venue.
As for The Retro, check out the links, these guys are a must see, get along to one of their gigs.

I'm guessing ticket sales were dreadful.

I've been urging people on various music forums to boycott this event, but even at my most vain I can't claim to have wielded that much influence. Moreover I think it just goes to show what we all thought long ago, Nene Park is just a shit location as a 'venue'.

and the thing is I was debating the merits of this gig with the actual promoter, and was being accused of not supporting local music and giving young musicians the opportunity to warm-up for a 'big name' artist. But my gripe was always that this event would ultimately line the pockets of KC and I felt that to be more than a little bit shitty. If this event gets rescheduled at another venue i'll be first in the queue for a ticket.
