Did you just see my PM? Barriers are not re-welded as yet in the corner for the Tractor entrance. I'll drop you another PM so we can discuss.

I'll email Matt again - I've not been over there mate, so have no idea who has had them. We'll have to make sure we get some spare sets I think.

Thanks for doing the barrier, hope it wasn't too hot for ya ;) !! I'm going to draw up a final list of jobs that needs doing tomorrow night when I'm over there, be good to get them all done by the 11th August if we can.

I haven't had this confirmed yet, but I'm hoping we'll pouring the concrete down the side of the pitch this coming Saturday (fingers crossed), so may be putting out a call for helpers later this week - keep your eyes peeled for that peeps !!

i have to say its looking tidy down there, the rubbish(behind dales bar) has been moved to behind the mini buses/coaches in the corner ,roy did say about the unbound surface infront of their club shop, that there is some slabs behind the clubhouse if one of our boys wanted to put them down   ...not me mate   ,darren has voiced a bit of concern over the sharp edges of some signage,he has probably spoken to you about it,club office will need looking at(not urgent)club shop has some racking that needs cutting down ie the need for the keys(couldnt do it today) the turnstyles could do with a lick over inside ;) and where we are going to concrete ,behind the boards will need a backfill,,,,,,,,,,sorry if im out of place by posting this   just my observations

Of course you're not out of place Duncan, we're open and honest about things at our club ............unlike certain other clubs I could mention ;)

Thanks for the update, I'm popping over to Wellingborough in the morning, not specifically to the ground although I will be calling in briefly. I'm going to load my car up with some of the rubbish stacked up by the fence and take it to the tip on my way home. I'll be heading over again later for the U18's game and aim to load up a second time, if I get time I may bag up some of the messy stuff (by the side of the social club) and take that too - I just want to avoid paying out for a skip if we can.

I was under the impression the sharp edges to the boards were being dealt with, I'll chase up on that.

The unbound surface bit in front of the old shop will be dealt with when we concrete I think, we do know about the slabs that are available if we go down that route.

I know about the backfilling too, we can barrow some of the soil from the top down to do that - its getting hands down there to do it which is the problem, but we can't do that really until the concreting is done - if it stays dry next week I may head over for an evening and get to work on that.

We need to sort out the interior of the shop and the office, but need to clear it of junk first.

I've got all this on my list, when I've had the chance to check around the ground I'll post up a full list of all the jobs we need to do, fingers crossed people reading this will come on down and lend a hand to get the ground sorted for the 18th.

The team is shaping up great, they look well smart in their kit - lets get the Dog and Duck as tidy as we can for the start of our campaign eh? Just a few short weeks to do it now !!
