I'll tell you what, I have never ached so much in my life, 100+ yards of concrete is no small feat.

One little jibe, is that there were 346 people at the game last night and only 6 turned up to do the work today8-)

To be fair mate, no call was sent out as this work was arranged at very short notice, but it must be said that the same "old" faces have done the lions share of the work thus far, but we always knew it would be like that. Hopefully things will change as the season progresses and more people realise that help is needed if this club is to become all it can be !!

But mahooosive well done to you guys that did step up to the plate - terrific effort, hope its all nice and level, Mark didn't gauge it with his thumb again did he??? ;) :lol:

he did ask for a level at one stage jim,but we all just blanked him!!!! the poor ol boy was shattered(burnt the candle at both ends ;) ) a massive task today,but we got there in the end,we were concerned at one stage ,that the concrete was going off.....then it chucked it down,which helped :lol: just hope there wont be anying ball marks or any footy boot marks on it as welly had 2 games down there today,a massive thanks to all who came today and to aiden (from the burger bar) for keeping us watered,,,,I KNACKERED

Yeah a big up to Aiden, he is a star, the bacon butty was much appreciated 8-)

Bacon butty!! BACON BUTTY !!! Why was this not mentioned to me sooner, my 85 year old mum could have moved her own furniture had I known ;)
