Attendances on Saturday included:
25 S & L v Irchester
34 Cogenhoe v Boston
Even if not including non payers like commitee members etcetera, that's barely going to pay for the ref and linesmen :(
You have to admire the way some of these clubs manage to survive.

I think most of them rely on the FA Cup to bring in most of the money!

And a bar open seven days a week. The Sports Club in Irchester is by far the busiest joint in town and now the Carpenters Arms has closed will probably get busier

Cogenhoe had a PSF against Northampton which despite an extortionate entrance fee was extremely well attended, and included a BBQ. They'd have made thousands that night alone and that will see them OK for a while.

When did the carpenters Arms shut?, Also Cogenhoe have a few boot sales which can make you quite a lot

It shut the middle of last week so my Dad tells me, the chain that own it have gone into administration but there is talk that the landlady want to take it on as a free house
