"Basford United F.C. is an English football club based in Basford, a suburb of Nottingham in Nottinghamshire. The club is currently members of the East Midlands Counties League."

"Basford United was formed in 1900 and have played their football in the Nottinghamshire leagues throughout most of their history. The team competed in the FA Cup in the middle of the last century but never progressed further than the second qualifying round. The club played in the Nottinghamshire Senior League until they joined the Central Midlands League South Division, winning the League, and thus promotion to the East Midlands Counties League, at their first attempt."

They are currently second in the eastern counties premier division and have only lost once in the league this season seems like a tough draw!!

It'll be tough but at home I fancy our chances of progress.
