According to the Oxford official site.

We will drop below K*ttering and AFC Wimbledon in that case.

Let's face that was the only correct decision. They've had games abandoned through pitch inspections, player strikes so it's about time that a decision on their fate was made.
Biggest losers must be Mansfield and Cambridge United.

Agreed only decision that could be made in truth, but such a shame it was let get to this stage. Imo, the conference should have proactively propped them up ages ago. There is no way they will stay up, but they should sign some free agents and play them, to give them a chance. At least it would mean that teams would have to earn their points. We all know what happened with Weymouth, but they played ok and were unlucky not to get many points in some of the games. With this teams were only going to lose out, after having "earnt" points.

I don't think that would have gone down very well with the other Conference clubs.
They should never have been allowed to start the season and the FA/Conference cocked up big time.

Sorry, i think i got a littel carried away! I think the conference board should have leaned on them earlier to consider their future. I think they should have tried to convince them that if they were unable to pay players wages they should be considering letting them go, rather than the shambolic boycott that we saw. I agree that if the Conference had stepped in financially that would have set a dangerous precedent.

Having said that however, i agree whole heartedly that they should have looked a lot closer into the situation at the start of the season. and i think the Football League is more to blame, as i believe they had the conference by the balls, by threatening to take away the promotion places ( i don;t recall where i heard this, but i remember it being mentioned a few times), if they did not take chester. This, imo, was completely irresponsible, as it should be down to the conference to admit who they like, and would have prevented what is now a farcical situation.
