Tough tie, but we're in the last 64, so no-one was going to be easy. Currently 6th in the Ebac Northern League Division One (Step 5), the same Division as Darlington 1883.
A long trip, but it'll be a great weekend, can't wait !! A horrible journey home if we lose.........so we'd better go there and win eh?
It'll be hard, but with the lads we've got I truly believe we can do it.
Better get your orders in for the merchandise and wrap up well, it could be cold

Given the record of Northern League clubs in this competition, and the high placing of Ashington in the league, this would be a proper cup upset.
From a fans perspective - not players! - I think we have the expect a very tough game of football. But anything can happen on the day.

Ridiculous distance to travel.
Best bet is probably East Coast Mainline from Peterborough. Doable in under 3 hours i'd have thought.
I'd read on another website that Northern League sides are beat avoided in the Vase as they're often very, very good. If memory serves I think Ashington had a good FA Cup run last year, possibly losing to a BSP side?

Hopefully the players will be allowed a stay over and a night out in Newcastle. They deserve it whatever the result
