One very good reason to get out of this league, and the crazy cup prioritization, that will basically be 3 weeks without a game for us, not the best prep for the Vase game :(
I would assume we are trying to sort out a friendly or something

We wouldn't have played anyway, there's no way Spencer's ground would have been in a state to play

Would there be any significant cost implications for these postponed games or does it just work itself out by the end of the season?

We get better gates for Saturday games than midweek, so if any are played midweek that will impact.

FFS, I was looking forward to this. Can't wait to get out of this league. I like (most of) the teams but this stupid cup prioritisation is really annoying. The league's the league FFS! Surely Spencer will lose out themselves on a bigger crowd?

Frustrating isn't the word, but let's keep positive eh, we can all go Christmas shopping with our loved ones instead..........................

I'll get my coat.......

Completely agree with people's frustrations, I realise why they do it with the odd team not having floodlights but it still seems ****ing ludicrous and irritating that cups that are effectively reserve competitions are taking priority over the games that actually matter and N Spencer will probably lose out if the rearranged date is midweek, which I suspect it will be. The drop in midweek attendances compared to Saturday games this season for us (the Bugbrooke midweek crowd was almost 50% lower than the BPW crowd a few days earlier on Saturday) also shows the impact such fixture changes have

It looks like you are right - Spencer are now starting an appeal following the damage the flooding caused.
