Additional Fixture News

The UCL Fixture planner has published the latest list of fixtures, and as well as the Bugbrooke game on 22/12 I mentioned yesterday, we now have two additional home midweek home games in January - both on Wednesday evenings - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/201213-senio ... nd-results

The Potton Home game is the one originally scheduled to be played in September as our second ever home league game, but was postponed in favour of the County Cup game against Whitworths.

A good run of homes after Oadby and even Raunds is closer for most. Watched R&H v BPW last sat and they really are for the taking. BPW forced R&H to extra time after being sent down to 8 men!

Those two additional games are now moved back to the Tuesday - I suspect the compiler was looking at the wrong calendar - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/201213-senio ... nd-results

Its astonishing really, the changing backwards and forwards for the 22nd game is ludicrous. As much as I don't want to be too disrespectful to this league, the sooner we get out of it the better, the cup priority was extremely irritating an may have cost us money, surely it would have been common sense to schedule a few more midweek games for the warmer months and the constant fixture changes are ridiculous, especially the scheduling of the Oadby game for a day when they were guaranteed to be in the vase that day. I wonder just how wrong that fixture card that was given out at a match a few months ago is now after all the changes and cup games
