My guess is that Desperate Measures will be back on Page 1 by the end of today ! 8-)

For me we've moved to a next chapter aabd now they are out of np (even temporarily) am not bothered now.
I bet their fans would give their right arm to have felt the same elation as we did when jake scored or so proud of our team as we did yesterday

I agree bozzer, as the initiator of the thread I think its run its course..........a bit like them as a club really ;)

Maybe it should be allowed to drift away into oblivion ..........bit like them really ;) :lol:

Seriously, what I felt yesterday in that stand when Jake scored and the team ran over to us was.......I can't find the words, but elation doesn't do it justice, neither does the word heartbreak when they scored the winner in the last minute.

The desperate measures thread should be allowed to die now, I've got to be honest I haven't thought about them as a club since they ceased to infect NP. I hope they sort out their problems and that we lock horns again at some time in the future because they're rivals, and I love a good derby game, but I can't be arsed to waste the effort thinking about them now.

I vote for locking the thread to be honest, maybe move it to the Jokes page ;) :lol:

Oh and bozzer, hope you and the team had a good night out on the Toon and have a safe journey home.

Appreciate you and many others on here may not be bothered but,a few years ago I was verbally abused by a Ploppies fan when I was visiting his house on business by simply when asked if I was a R&D fan I said yes. He then went on with a tirade of insults etc that he knew by the nature of my work I couldn,t respond to....This person was retired with a heart problem and in his late 60s. His wife had to see me to the door apologising for his behaviour. Since that day I have hated KTFC with a passion and IMHO the further they sink the better ! :mrgreen:

Let it die, it was good for a laugh when it was a circus at NP but now it's boring, they'll lose every week and get relegated. Big deal... I want to win our league after yesterday.

No point bringing it back it seems, they're actually winning today
