having looked at the nice shiny camera that the northern league lady had with a fancy remote we decided we would like a new one...just need a sponsor to pay for one!

Yeah there is, this lady had a fancy one connected to the tripod which you could operate whilst turning it, not that there's anything wrong with your one.

I always found it more trouble than it was worth so it stayed in he bag most of the time, although it would be useful if you were on your own and in front of camera so could start/stop it without having to move, but to be fair it does sound like it's operation is rather limited compared to what they had.
One point regarding quality and Jon and I have discussed this a number of times, if you look back to some of the early videos, like this one and this one for example, you'll see that they're available in full 1080p. The camera is more than capable, it's just down to compatibility with the equipment now used for editing and the processes involved that it loses some of the quality. The finished product (and camera work) is miles away from those early days though so I think it's a good trade off.

If anyone ever doubted Starms' desire to win then look at the hurt in his eyes during that interview, full of pain - the man doesn't like losing, a trait I want to see in my manager. I too felt that anguish on Saturday :(
I still think Gilly's sending off is dubious to say the least - looked at it several times, and the other video of it, and it still looks to me as though the guy takes a rather easy tumble. Saw a similiar incident in the Swansea v Norwich game and it was a yellow card, thats the most gutting thing.
Onwards and upwards, the players need to use this experience to pull themselves together for the push for promotion. The way we performed against Ashington shows me we have what it takes to close the gap on Sileby and if we show that level of desire, togetherness and commitment when we play them on the 26th January then we're in for one hell of a game.
I'm still gutted even now, but I'm so proud of the players and supporters, who were fantastic on the day. In all my time following Diamonds I don't think I've ever seen such a sense of togetherness.
Great highlights and interviews again and I bet poor old Mark Dimmock is gutted we didn't win - a game at Bodmin would almost be a home game for him ;)
