..has left Cradley, he was still playing at 39, his age now, and was assistant manager, now who thinks he would like to play for us, assuming he still can etc etc.

Although it would be fantastic to see him play in our shirt, he would need to do about 12 months fitness training to shed the extra pounds which he was carrying when i last saw him at the Richard Butcher memorial game. Also age is not on his side unfortunately.

Could we afford the travelling expenses for a player living in the West Midlands?

Exactly. ;) So if Duane wanted to continue to kick a pig's bladder about he would best doing it close to where he lives.

Now I love Duane to bits, my all time Diamonds favourite player and I want him to remain that.

Those of us that saw him play at the Richard Butcher Memorial Game will know what I mean when I say..........move along, nothing to debate here ;)

He's a terrific guy and I'd love to see him at one of our matches soon (I've been working on that !!!) but I don't see him playing for us !

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

One Dale Roberts.

Another diamonds fan in exile in the black country wewantourdarbyback?

Wherabouts are you? I'm in Netherton, the next town along from Cradley Heath.

The team Duane was at is actually Cradley, which is just outside Cradley Heath, but basically they're the same thing, they kind of merge into one another like Rushden & Higham do.
