Rained very heavy around here last night (4 miles from Wellingborough)
Any body know the state of the D&D pitch? Is the Nene still up and flooding the fields? :(

We trained at Wrenn last night.
There is still water in the park by the Embankment but nowhere as much as there was.

The pitch is not looking too bad guys, obviously this dam rains not helping. Pumps doing it,s job, drying wind is helping.
Think you should be fine for saturday, albeit the pitch will probably be heavy going,but would be nice just to get some football played.

@AFCRD: Pitch is playable today so with no more rain forecast it looks like we will get some football tomorrow!

No problem with the pitch for your game tomorrow guys. Looks pretty good considering.
