Noticed on the UCL Facebook page that Burrows has signed for Olney Town, after playing only in friendlies for us at the start of the season.
Got me thinking about a few other names who haven't featured either recently or at all, are they still 'with' the club in some sense?
Matthew Brady
James Broadbent
George Cox
Jamie Gilsenan
Jamie O'Grady
I seem to recall some players loaned out at the beginning of the year (Ash Meeks?) but some of these players exiting may have passed me by?

Re: Jamie Burrows
As far as i'm aware Brady and O'Grady are on dual registration with Winslow. James Broadbent is at University but offered his services in the event of a goalkeeping emergency. Cox has had work commitments*. Don't know about Gilsenan but he'd be 5th choice CM IMO given we've now signed Harris and King whilst Dent has returned to fitness.
*may be wrong on all of those. ;)

Details of the loans / dual registrations are in the individual player profiles http://www.afcdiamonds.com/player_profiles , and summarised in the complete list http://www.afcdiamonds.com/first-team-s ... t-profiles
One thing I hadn't really realised until recently is there seem to be rules about how a reserve team would operate, and there are restrictions about how many "first team" players can turn out for them - so having a reserve side might not be as useful as I thought.

Re: Jamie Burrows
Must be a brand new ruling regarding ressies then because up to and including last season, it wasn`t unknown for first-teams to completely `take over` a reserve fixture if they hadn`t a game on the day/night.Formic wrote:Details of the loans / dual registrations are in the individual player profiles http://www.afcdiamonds.com/player_profiles , and summarised in the complete list http://www.afcdiamonds.com/first-team-s ... t-profiles

I remember vividly being at Desborough`s Waterworks one Saturday with the reserves almost ready to warm-up when the first-team returned from somewhere (that bit I can`t remember - well, I am getting on!) as their game had been called off late and they ripped up the team sheet, changed it entirely and played the first-team instead - the poor old reserve boys had to simply lump it!!!
Re: Jamie Burrows
Perhaps I'd got that wrong then, and it was just in a cup context. I saw somewhere that a player wasn't eligible to play for the reserves in one of the reserve cups as he'd been playing for the first team in one of their cups, but perhaps it was another league that limited the inter-team moves in other competitions.
