Yes please, Tuesday nights are a real struggle for us especially early on when people have only just got in/still travelling back from work/having tea etc, so if anyone extra is available, even if just for half an hour early on (from 6) it would be a great help please drop me an email at chas@afcdiamonds.com.

The main thing (but not the only one) at that time is needing people to man the entrance and help direct the cars so we can get them parked as tightly as possible and stop Peaksy for just finding the clearest bit of space and parking right in the middle of it.

It's obviously ok for other teams to move their home games from a Tuesday to a Saturday on safety grounds but it doesn't matter about dumping all these Tuesday night home games on us as with all our money all our 30 plus matchday volunteers are employed by the club so don't need other jobs so we can cope with it without a problem

So that will be 8/18 home fixtures on a saturday and 17/18 away fixtures on a saturday.

I think with exception of Harrowby we have taken at least 300 fans to every UCL away match

Its nice to know we are keeping all but one of the UCL first division teams afloat. I hope they appreciate it.

To a non-Diamonds fan that would sound very arrogant, which I'm sure is not how you meant it.

We are certainly contributing to the finances of all the other clubs in the league and I personally don't begrudge them this, particularly thinking of the amount of effort that a lot of them have put into hosting us and making it an enjoyable day for all.

The one mid-week away fixture is at Sileby, which I'm sure will attract a bit crowd whatever day it is played.
