Anyone having problems with their PS3?

Seems like half the worlds PS3's died at 11.33 last night, mine included. Sony are working to fix the problem but there is no set time for it to be back on, or how it can be fixed!

Yeah, I attempted to play FIFA 10 earlier, only to be told that it couldn't load my trophy data and that the game would exit. I was relieved when I discovered it was a global problem rather than a fault with mine alone. Still ****ing annoying though, they'd better get it fixed PDQ!

it happened to my brother, and apparently everyone who owned a fatter style ps3, slimline ones apparently weren't affected.

It was something to do with the clocks in the systems set this year as a leap year, which obviously its not, so when they tried changing to 29th February, it auto re-set itself to Jan 1st 2000 which caused no PSN logins to work. Human error at the end of the day. It fixed itself anyway at midnight.

I was fine... mostly becuase mines been sat idle for a couple of weeks.
