The snow has gone from the pitch, we are having some sand delivered to help dry it out and bind it,we need some volunteers to come down to help apply the sand tonight to ensure the pitch is playable for tomorrow.

many thanks to all the dozen volunteers or so who have been at the ground today doing groundwork and preparing the pitch for tomorrow there are no plans for a pitch inspection and we expect the game to be on.

i popped in today after work ,just see if there was any chance of the game being on,and was flabagasted to see a lovely green(well brown and a little sandy )coloured pitch .i must say saturday we were down at the ground and the conditions where soooo bad i couldnt see a game being on for at least a couple of weeks,,,,,,,,YOU GUYS HAVE DONE AN AMAZING JOB,,,,,,,YOU LADS ARE WHAT THE CLUB IS ALL ABOUT (AND THIS ALSO GOES OUT TO THE BURGER MONSTER ;) ;) ) SUPERB

I can remember playing a game at Silver Jubilee park on a pitch in those conditions. Bloody kids today ;)
